Job Description
We are looking for a restaurant accountant to add to our accounting team. This is a full time position.
Please note that this is not a remote position
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Managing accounts payable
· Daily reconciliation of credit card sales
· Sales tax reporting
· Payroll processing and payroll tax returns
· Weekly cash reconciliations
· Various spreadsheet and research projects as needed
Ideal Skill Set:
· Natural Problem Solver
· Quick Study
· Logical Thinker
Required Skills:
· Minimum of two-year accounting degree and/or two years of experience in the accounting field
· Work experience using QuickBooks.
· Ability to quickly pick up on a variety of restaurant software. (Aloha, Digital Dining, Chef Tec, Focus, Etc.)
· Must be very accurate.
· Must possess a good work ethic.
